One of the top questions we get at Tea Sip is "Do you have anything that will help me sleep?" Our answer? "ABSOLUTELY!" Check out these popular calming herbs down below and read why we use them and what tasty caffeine free tea blends they are in. From our best seller SNOOZE to a tart treat like HIBISCUS LEMONADE, we have the evening tea blend you are looking for.

CHAMOMILE - anxiety reducer

Found in:  CHAMOMILE, PETAL PARTY, and STRAWBERRY FIELDS

This classic soothing herb from Egypt has been popular for years for its calming and mild sleep inducing effects. It is thought that the antioxidants found in CHAMOMILE aids in reducing anxiety and promoting sleep. Said to have a flavor similar to apples, this flower is used in many Tea Sip teas.

LAVENDER - relaxing effects

Found in:  SNOOZE and PETAL PARTY

Frequently used in fragrances and baths to promote relaxation, you can also drink this beautiful flower from France. Although there isn't a lot of evidence that lavender improves sleep, it's aroma, oils, and infusions are known to have strong relaxing qualities which may help you unwind in preparation for sleeping. Lavender is a favorite floral amongst our tea lovers (Tea Sip SKY GREY and LAVENDER HONEY fans, we see you). For lavender caffeine free options, we recommend SNOOZE or PETAL PARTY.

LEMON BALM - Stress reducing

Found in:  HIBISCUS LEMONADE, BLOOD ORANGE

Believed to be a powerful agent against stress and anxiety, lemon balm hails from the mint family. This herb has been used since the middle ages for improving sleep and reducing stress. With a citrus aroma and a generally neutral flavor, lemon balm is perfectly primed as a flavoring base for some of our blends. Our popular caffeine free blends that include it are HIBISCUS LEMONADE and BLOOD ORANGE.

VALERIAN ROOT - promotes sleep

Found in:  SNOOZE

The big mama of all sleep herbs, valerian root, is thought to have sedative effects. It features multiple compounds that calm and ease, helping to reduce anxiety and promote sleep. Unfortunately, this herb has a bit of an unpleasant flavor. So we have done some Tea Sip blend magic to create a super tasty nighttime tea so that you can actually enjoy your valerian root! Try out our honey, floral apple flavored best seller SNOOZE to get the best sleep of your life.
